We are pleased to announce the TANDEM events happening in Antakya
on the dates 28-29-30 September 2012:

The Country on my Back - A theater play on migration in Berlin and Antakya
The joint theatre project of Barış Onur Örs from Im Atölye (Antakya) and Çagla İlk from Ballhaus Nauynstrasse (Berlin) will have its premiere the 28th and 29th of September. The performance of the collaborating companies results from stories of migrants in both of the cities, whose interviews where collected throughout the year and will now be performed on stage.
The play will start at the venue of Im Atölyesi and the audience will follow the actors on their way. The show will last approximately 90 minutes.

The contemporary art exhibition jointly curated by Ahmet Karabulak (Depo Art Platform, Mersin) and Zane Datava (LCCA, Riga) will open its doors the 28th of September in Mersin.

The joint production “Yokuş Aşağı Emanetler” directed by Y. Ömer Erzurumlu and Wilhelm Schneck, which had is successful premiere in the streets of Istanbul the 14.-15. of September, will be performed again in November.

In the joint project of Paddy Burton from Jack Drum Arts in England and Erdinc Alniak from the Mavitay Çocukların Kültür Evi, children came together to create sculptures out of garbage and create photo stories with the trashpeople. The results of the workshops will be presented in an final exhibition in Crook (U.K.) and Cannakale (Türkiye) on 22 September 2012.

After Co Labora (Berlin) presented the results of the workshops of the joint TANDEM project by DSM and Co Labora (Berlin) "Ben - I am - Ich bin" in Berlin, the Diyarbakir Cinema Association is now inviting the public to see the video and photography works, which were produced during the workshops in Diyarbakir.
